SC cleared. ITIL v4 Qualified. Ten-plus years now spent on physical and virtual systems alike, first in cloud-first shops, then increasingly cloud-centric ones — which isn't quite the same thing. Storage and networking are the parts I get pulled into most.

Best practice and established frameworks drive how I work as a hybrid cloud architect, designing for both native and hybrid cloud — not because a textbook says so, but because it's what holds up under a real change request. That's taken me through several sectors so far, tightening processes where they're loose and keeping the people paying for it in the loop.

Most days that's AWS and Azure work, hands-on with both physical and virtual estate, all run through an ITIL v4 lens from initial design to whoever picks up support after go-live.
